Photo Of The Week: College Of Idaho’s Winter Wilderness Experience
Posted: June 14th, 2012 | Author: Shayne Kasai | Filed under: Life | Tags: College, Education, Idaho, Photo Of The Week | What do you think? This week we have an interesting featured photo from the College of Idaho. What would be your ideal course? For us, it would have to include telemark skiing in the backcountry. What better way to develop your creative writing skills than with a foot of powder and a pencil. Come to think of it, I’m pretty sure this is why we blog about tele!
Here’s what Dustin Wunderlich (Director of Marketing and Communications) had to say about this photo:
College of Idaho environmental studies and English professor Scott Knickerbocker is shown here during the College’s 2011 Winter Wilderness Experience in the Sawtooth Mountains. The Winter Wilderness Experience gives College of Idaho students an opportunity to learn how to telemark ski while studying environmental literature, creative writing and wilderness policy issues.
We would like to thank The College Of Idaho for this photo. To find out more about this wonderful program check out the links below!
